How do I surf behind a boat?
Weight one rear side of the boat with ballast and/or friends (for an even better wake, the front of the boat should have some weight too), set the cruise control to 11 miles an hour, and surf the endless wave.

How much gas does the boat burn?
It varies considerably depending upon usage. A typical day can burn from 20 to 60 gallons, with the average around 30. How much weight, speed, surf time, and downtime sunbathing on the swim deck-- these all play a role in the amount of gas consumed. The Mobius has a 40 gal tank.
What if the weather turns bad the day we have scheduled to go?
The boat has a heater to keep warm on those cooler days, but you are welcome to reschedule for a different date if the weather is bad. We don't want you or our boat out in inclement weather.
Do you take cash, card or check?
Your $100 deposit must be paid online with a credit card or paypal, but the remaining balance that is paid the day of the rental can be paid with cash, card, or check.
Do you allow pets?
Pets are not allowed on the upholstery, but small pets are allowed in your lap or on the floor for a $25 nonrefundable deposit. If there is evidence of an undisclosed pet onboard after your rental period, there will be a $50 fee assessed.
Are there any special restrictions?
There is NO beaching the boat, it must be tied to a buoy or tied to a dock. If you keep the boat overnight, you must have a safe place to moor. Coeur d'Alene Lake has many shallow areas (Cougar bay, south side of the Spokane river, entrance to the CdA river, etc.) watch your depth gauge; And there can always be floating debris, be watching. We keep our equipment in excellent condition, and we would ask you to treat it as if it was your own.
Do you offer drivers?
With plenty of advanced notification, we can provide you with one of our excellent boat guides. Our Guides are excellent drivers, personable, helpful, and knowledgable about the lake and the area. They are familiar with the boat, and wakesports so they can offer instruction and free you up to spend more time having fun.
Drivers are $200 per day.
Are children welcome?
Absolutely! Children aren't required, but they usually have more fun than the adults, and add more fun to the adults! We require ALL children 13 and under to wear a lifejacket at all times. We have coastguard approved flotation devices to fit all sizes.
Do I have to have a special license?
Renters must be 18 years old to rent a boat, and drivers must be 16. Idaho does not require a special boating license, but you are required to know and obey all boating laws. You will receive instruction on operating the boat the day of your rental. We offer a $45 discount if you complete an online boating course and show us your certificate of completion. There are two good options for online boat certification- http://www.boatus.org/idaho/ http://www.boat-ed.com/idaho
